Native New Zealander, Sunnie Zuleta, currently calls Byron Bay home.

During her time in the rainbow region she has developed a deft hand in almost every artistic medium possible. Painting, photography, writing, design, film and collage. Her collage work in particular caught our eye, so we asked Sunnie to design the labels for our 2021 wines. She takes a breath to briefly explain the artwork for our ‘Dads a tripper’ label;

 

“For me it speaks to wisdom, knowledge, nostalgia, hope and warmth. The wise snake lifts its head up into the cosmos, and peers over at a blooming flower of youth. The boy is suspended in space. A snapshot of innocence perhaps more ancient than the passage of time.”
